Vaulted ceilings, radiant floor heat, and tons of windows add to the charm. Enjoy the privacy of the large yard and proximity to trails while also being just a few minuted from downtown Livingston. There's also a large covered front porch to relax and drink your coffee or read a book. The guest house has it's roots in history, as it was remodeled from two small railroad homes, but the interior has all the charms and comforts of modern times. Hardwood floors throughout, vaulted ceilings and farm style windows add to the charm. Decorated with local art, historic photos, and antique furniture. A Jack and Jill bathroom adds to the ease and comfort when staying here. Two closets to hang your cloths, as well as an iron and ironing board are provided. Large garden area beside the guest house is available to harvest produce throughout the summer. As much or as little as you like :) The guest house is in town but at the end of a quiet street. Our property backs up to Fleshman creek, and you will often see deer wander through the yard. We are blocks from downtown, and provide cruiser bikes for guest to get around. The walking in the area is excellent, as it's quiet with lots of mature trees and access to a lovely creekside trail. The kitchen area is compact. We provide granola, yogurt and milk for our guests, as well as coffee and tea. There is a small fridge and microwave, as well as a sink to do dishes. If you are needing any kitchen items that aren't in the guest house, don't hesitate to ask! We stock it with a coffee maker, hot plate, frying pan, plates and bowls, glassware, cutting board, and silver ware.
