Located on the Upper Rogue River, this riverfront cottage is perfect whether you seek a quiet weekend away or fishing for steelhead, (plus, there's a great run right in front of the cottage). We're just down the way from the Riverhouse and bridge, close to town. It is a very quiet and serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The geese will wake you up in the morning and the deer and raccoons will amuse you. Feel free to pick fruit from the trees if in season. Sorry, no children. The space We offer a private, quiet, riverfront cottage thats perfect for fisher people or those who want an alternative to the the typical hotel drill. Note that we typically use unscented detergent for bedding and towels, but the unit has a scented plug-in and lemon oil is used on the cabinets. Special touches like wader and rod hangers on the deck, full kitchen and a cozy gas fired wood stove combine to make your stay memorable. It is a flat, 100 yard walk down to the river. Chaise lounges set by the riverside gives you a contemplative place to spend your day. Guest access The cottage is located below our home, closer to the river. Parking is in our driveway, its about a 30 yard walk to the cottage from the driveway, including a flight of stairs. You have direct access to the river. Feel free to pick fruit from the trees or the garden if in season. It is a short walk to downtown, don't miss having a breakfast at Macs! Other things to note We are located very near the Riverhouse, our local wedding destination. If you are bringing a boat, contact us so we can accommodate your parking needs.
