You drive down a country road to a rural retreat surrounded by red cliffs, cactus, and a rambling brick ranch with a “casita”. There is plenty of parking and a private entrance to your guest home. Inside, you’ll enter freshly remodeled accommodations with soft, neutral colors that set off the ancient Vermillion Cliffs in every window. Breathtaking. Our guest casita is not only beautifully furnished, but thoughtfully appointed with new ceramic tile flooring and heating/air conditioning system. There are two bedrooms, each with a luxuriously appointed queen-sized bed, TV, and closet space. The full bathroom features new plumbing, vanity, and bath/shower. The living room and dining area feature large windows, letting in beautiful light and a full view of the Vermillion Cliffs. The dining area includes a dining table with seating for four guests. Just off the living room is a brand new, fully furnished kitchen, ready for you to prepare a real Southwestern meal. Located conveniently within the Grand Circle of Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks, this guest house is just 2 miles from downtown Kanab. With its own private entrance, the guest house is adjoined to the owners main living quarters. The entire home is situated on 5 private acres, with expansive views of the red rock vermillion Cliffs and the town of Kanab. Enjoy the serenity of our beloved mini ranch, home to our two miniature donkeys. Guests will access accommodations via a private entrance and lock box. We are available during your visit, to answer any questions about the national parks and local amenities. We also, respect your private during your stay. Kanab’s charm has been preserved without the addition of “big box” stores. There two well stocked grocery stores and several wonderfully unique restaurants serving fresh, local fare and vegetarian selections. Kanab is a perfect town to explore by foot or bicycle. Due to its intimate size, there is no public transportation available.
