The perfect location for a gathering or holiday in Snowdonia, North Wales this charming 16th century house and has been welcoming guests to Wales since the 13th century. The space Ty Neuadd is a spacious cottage sitting inside the walls of an original medieval hall. Downstairs is a large lounge, a kitchen and a dining area with space for a large group to dine. Upstairs there is a bathroom, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. There is also a downstairs toilet. Opposite is the medieval long barn which has a table tennis table, air hockey and other games. There is also plenty of storage for bikes and other equipment and we provide a key. Guest access Situated down a farm track and over a small bridge the entrance is through a private gate and up the drive to the old tennis court where there is ample space to park. Although wonderfully secluded Gwanas Fawr is within easy reach of everything Snowdonia and the Mawddach Estuary has to offer. The market town of Dolgellau is only 4 miles away. Other things to note Ty Trol is surrounded by beautiful farmland which boasts breathtaking views of Cadair Idris and the Snowdonia national park. A gentle walk down to the stream takes you to a large paddock with a picnic table, deckchairs and lots of space for children and dogs to play. Walks up the hill can start from your front door. The night skies are spectacular too as the area is located within a designated international dark skies reserve.
