beau blue is a stylish, modern, ground floor apartment/annexe which is attached to the owners property but with its own entrances (both outside and inside). It is set in the heart of The Lincombes, a highly regarded area of Torquay. Sleeping up to 2 guests in an open plan apartment and just a stone's throw from town, the nearby beaches and harbour. The space As you enter the property itself via your own entrance, you find yourself in the entrance lobby, a handy area for hanging up coats and storing shoes/suitcases. The next door takes you directly into the apartment with the ensuite shower room on the left. There is a large shower cubicle with a good electric shower. There is a shaver/electric toothbrush point. The apartment is all open plan, with bedroom, living/dining area and kitchen all in one large room. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster, fridge (with small icebox), hob and oven. The king size bed has a quality mattress and good quality bed linen and there are usb sockets on either side of the bed. The lounge area has a 43" smart TV, dab radio, dining table and chairs and sofa. There is a bespoke built in wardrobe with full length hanging and shelving. beau blue will provide you with all you need for a comfortable stay. There is even a handy lockable unit with games and maps etc and a safe/lockable place to store your belongings away. Included is luxury shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and handwash, toilet rolls, hairdryer, mini USB fans, beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, a selection of visitor leaflets and maps, puzzles and playing cards,. In the kitchen you will find tea towels, cooking utensils, pizza trays, baking trays, saucepans, frying pan, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, foil, cooking oil, salt & pepper and a welcome box of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits. The room has zoned lighting so you have the choice of which areas you want to light up, depending on whether you are sleeping, cooking, chilling etc. There is free, fast Wi-Fi at the property. There is a lovely lawned and natural garden area to the rear of the property, accessed via a steep set of steps, where there is a bench and sea views, a great area to relax (however it must be noted that this is part of the owners garden so is not completely secluded so you may see the owners and their 2 dogs........Chilli (a miniature labradoodle) & Harley (a cockerpoo). Most guests prefer to sit directly outside beau blue on the bench on the drive. A stroll down into town and the harbour takes 10 minutes (slightly longer coming back up the hill!) Our local beach, Meadfoot is also a ten minute walk. There is an excellent bus service in town and should you wish to be adventurous they can take you to Exeter, Dawlish, Totnes, Teignmouth and other lovely towns and cities. The train station is a 35 min walk away with good services. There are a good choice of pubs, restaurants, cafes all within walking distance. You will find lots of recommendations in our welcome notes. Other things to note When making your booking, please can you provide the name of your guest and if you are travelling by train or car so I can send relevant check-in details. if you are planning on eating out whilst you stay, the local restaurants do get very busy in the Spring/Summer and we strongly recommend you book in advance of your trip to avoid disappointment. We have compiled a list of our favourite places to eat/drink so we can send this to you once your booking is confirmed if you would like it.
