Our newly renovated cabin is the quintessential place for your visit to the Kitsap Peninsula. We offer creature comforts like coffee, refrigerator, microwave, towels, shampoo, soaps and lovely decor inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Quiet and serene, but just 10 minutes from the town of Silverdale, 15 minutes to Poulsbo, and 19 miles to Seattle, as the crow flies. Catch the ferry from nearby Bremerton, Kingston, or Bainbridge Island. Come relax, enjoy the weather and nature we have to offer. The space Thank you for taking a look at our Mountain Home! Our newly renovated cabin and home share 2.25 acres and are surrounded by towering evergreens, enchanting maples, and lush ferns. Come unwind in our light and airy peaceful space, our studio cabin offers a balance of modern sophistication and rural tranquility. For your convenience we have stocked our cabin with kitchenette essentials, healthy snacks, beverages, and coffee for the supplied Keurig. In addition, the refrigerator, toaster, toaster oven, and microwave are provided for guests who like to make simple meals. Adjust the temperature to your preference with a quiet and energy efficient HVAC system with an easy to use remote control. Start your morning with hot coffee on the covered patio and watch for the deer families, feisty chipmunks, squirrels, and the bald eagles that take retreat in the tall pines. There is an abundance of urban activities and wilderness wonders to fill your time. Visit the picturesque coastline, our local state parks and hiking trails, enjoy shops, breweries, and restaurants in charming Poulsbo, or visit Bainbridge Island for wine tasting and fine dining. You can catch the ferry from Bainbridge, Kingston, or Bremerton and check out Seattle, drive north to Sequim, La Push, or take the ferry to Canada from Port Angeles. Additionally, The Olympic National Park is about 2 hours away, which is a very doable day trip. Our main house is just across the driveway from the cabin and the middle island with its trees and shrubs provide privacy for both parties. Our neighborhood is quiet, safe and just minutes from outdoor activities, shops and restaurants. Please note: our cabin is made from cedar and the surrounding area is heavily wooded; as such there is no smoking, or cooking allowed with BBQ's, gas, briquettes, fire, propane, ethanol fuel, butane, etc. inside or outside of the cabin. If we see evidence of cooking with any of those sources or smoking you will be asked to leave the property immediately and no refunds will be given. Guest access Our main home and Mountain Home are located on 2.25 acres. We want you to explore the beauty and nature and encourage you to take walks around our neighborhood. You can walk around the lower property but please refrain from exploring the area further up the driveway, closer to our main home as we are often outside with our dogs. If you are traveling with a travel trailer/RV or boat, we have ample parking for both though no hook-ups available. This is a quiet, peaceful property and neighborhood. Mutual respect is appreciated. Sorry, no additional guests at any time, this is a 2 person max accommodation. (Only exception are children under 3 years old). Our cabin is made from cedar and the surrounding area is heavily wooded; No cooking with bbqs, gas, briquettes, fire, propane, ethanol fuel, butane, etc. Inside OR outside. If we see evidence of cooking with any of those items you will be asked to leave the property and no refunds will be given. No vaping or smoking of any kind. If we see smoking or find evidence of smoking during your stay you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given. No pets inside or outside. If we see pets of any kind during your stay you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given Other things to note We have deer, chipmunks, raccoons, birds, and larger animals that call this area their home. Please do not keep trash or food out on the deck as it will most likely bring out their curiosity. If you need us to pick up any trash or recyclables, just shoot us a text.
