Chaffey's Lock Canal-View Cottage

Nesled among the white pines, this cozy 3 bdrm cottage is just steps from the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal. Excellent swimming, fishing, paddling, cycling and hiking. A 2-3 min walk to the water and to the general store, Brown's Marina, Lockmaster Museum, the Cataraqui Trail, Dorothy's Lodge and the Opinicon Resort. Your host also operates Rideau Tours and offers bike, kayak, canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals onsite. Guest access There is a paved driveway directly in front of the cottage large enough for 2 regular size vehicles. Additional parking is available directly across the road for larger vehicles or trailers. The main access is the side door and it will be left unlocked during check-in times. Other things to note The Chaffey's Lock Community Hall is right next door. There are concerts and special events held at the hall on most weekends so lots of wonderful music but usually only until 11pm. We are recommending that guests bring their own bed sheets & pillow cases but we provide blankets. We have also adopted additional cleaning and sanitizing protocols to ensure the safety of our guests.
