G-ma and Pa's Hobbit Home

Come spend a night underground! This unique home is a rural, restful spot with friendly hosts. We are located 8 minutes from Menomonie and 20 minutes from Eau Claire on US highway 12 & 29 parallel to Interstate 94, providing easy access to the freeway. We have one private room available with one private bathroom. The bedroom includes a queen bed and a full size mattress in the loft (ladder access). The remaining spaces are shared with the host. The space You’ll love our underground hobbit home with high ceilings, and unique design. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Private bedroom and bathroom as well as many spacious shared spaces. Guest access The common areas (shared with the host) that are available for use include: Large living room, sun room, kitchen and large dining area as well as outdoor patio spaces. During your stay Don or Barb will typically meet our guests at arrival (unless other arrangements are made). If requested, Barb will make a blueberry coffee cake served with maple syrup from a local business, Jensen Family Farms. We will be available for conversation during your stay and for questions you may have. Other things to note The patio is a beautiful spot to enjoy a brilliant display of the evening stars on a clear night and have a smore or two roasted over our fire ring. Our home is surrounded by a large lawn area for bocce ball, bean bag toss or flying a kite.
