Family Room + free transfer Lombok Airport Praya

Experience a safe stay in a normal Lombok family house. Off the beaten tourist track, simple but centrally located to explore Lombok island. Near international airport with pick up service backpackers available for a safe arrival and stay. Perfect chance to live with a local family. Local meals can be provided. This family is not in the tourist industry, so very limited English. I can help to translate. The space This is a normal Lombok family that rent out a room and they can provide home cooked meal (advance booking) and information. See our feedback from travelers who stayed with us! The family is not a tour provider, so they can try to help to look for the tour that you want, but it is up to you if you want to take it. Guest access Guests are welcome to go anywhere in the house. It is a safe environment and ideal for first arrival or last night before fly off from Lombok. Also, ideal if you want to take this place as your starting point and don't want to move your luggage around the island. Most tourist destinations can be reached in a day trip and evening you are back at the family's place. Tours to Mount Rinjani might take longer than a day trip. During your stay The family will stay there all the time and take care of requests. If you want to have time for yourself then also no problem. Marc will help with the communication, since only two persons in the family speak English (one even speaks German!) and these people will not be around all the time. So, it might be that you arrive and the family only speaks Indonesian. I consider this a part of the REAL Indonesian experience that you will get at this place, as other tourist places are used to interact with foreigners, but here in Praya, you will not find many tourists. This is an ideal place to practice your Bahasa Indonesia! But with translate apps and hands and feet, communication was not a problem for most travelers and Marc is always available to help translate. The family will always try to get cheap prices for your itinerary, but still, life in Lombok is not for free, some guests seem to expect, that using the family's scooter and eating at the family is for free. As much as the family would do that, Marc doesn't want that, because the family should not end up with a loss for letting tourists stay at their place. I hope this is a small thing, and you can accept to pay for anything else that you consume at the family's place. Just an appreciation, so that you value the family's effort.
