Apartment for 2+2 persons, with bedroom and large sofa bed in the living room, kitchen, shower+toilet and an anteroom. Travel cot for babies also available. We live in a quiet rural side street, about 10 km from Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. The space Our small cozy apartment with about 45 sqm is located in a quiet side street in Maria Rain. The house counts almost 100 years, and has been thoroughly renovated for three years. Some small work is still to be done, but the guest will not notice. New lawns have already been created on parts of the property, as well as raised beds and flower boxes built and set up. Nevertheless, there are still some jobs to be urbanized, which is an exciting task for us. In front of the house there is a small terrace, which our guests can also use. A barbecue is also available, but also for the evening glass of wine with birdsong and grill chirping is welcome. We have a music system and some games and books (in German) in the apartment, but no TV. However, if you bring your laptop, you can access our WLAN free of charge, and there you can find far more information than on the TV. Maria Rain is surrounded by forests and mountains that invite you to long hikes. In many places in the village you have a wonderful view of the Drau valley. In addition, there are many attractions that can be reached at short notice by car. Or simply keep your feet in the water at Lake Wörthersee. From recreation seekers to active holidaymakers, everything is possible here. And even in winter you can reach some small ski resorts quickly by car, so you do not have to book expensive on site. So you can enjoy skiing in good weather, or in bad days head to the tourist destinations nearby to recharge your batteries. As you can see, there is something for every taste. Whether mountains, lakes, hiking trails, museums, leisure activities or one of Austria's worth seeing cities, it only takes a few minutes to reach the first destinations, and if you want to travel a little longer, Austria is at your feet. Guest access Since there is a separate apartment in our house, the guest gets his own key. Thus, the house can be entered at any time, without restrictions. Upon prior notice, the check-in time can also be varied. At present, most corona rules are overridden. Nevertheless, please always inform yourself about the current regulations. We have a separate apartment, with separate entrance. A contactless key handover can be organized. We have all been vaccinated three times and will do everything for your health. Other things to note The apartment is fully furnished and newly renovated, but you can't hide the fact that you are still working elsewhere in the house. However, the guest will not notice this because it is only small things that still need to be done. Please note that a tourist tax of 1.70 euros per day is payable on site for each person over 14 years of age. This gets 100% the city and the country of Carinthia. Please pay this tax before checking out, thank you. Pets are not allowed unfortunately. That's because a lot of new furniture was installed in the apartment, and we don't want to argue later on what a pet broke or not. Please understand.
