Grab a book for some downtime on the intimate balcony, then head inside to soak up the historic charm of this inviting space. This second floor 1,800 square foot apartment is located on a lovely secluded tree-lined street and is easy walking distance to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, bars, gyms and the beach! Each bedroom is equipped with brand new memory foam mattresses and lots of outlets for all your charging needs. For entertainment, we provide a Smart TV so you can easily access your own apps like Netflix and Hulu, as well as HBO (provided) & Sling TV (provided) - a live cable TV streaming service that requires no login. Guests have access to the entire apartment. We do have one tenant that lives below on the first floor, and my wife and I live above on the third floor with our dog, Nora, and two cats, Cosmo and Mia. We are available for anything you might need during your stay. We are longtime Chicago residents, born and raised in the city and have a lot of recommendations for things to do both in the neighborhood and around the city. The building is nestled on a secluded, tree-lined street in Edgewater's popular Magnolia-Glen neighborhood, within walking distance of the beach, public transportation, local restaurants, small shops, bars, coffee shops, Andersonville, and Loyola. Getting around is very easy whether it's by public transportation (close to several CTA buses and the Red Line "L" train), Uber, Lyft or even flag a Chicago Taxi! The beach, Andersonville, Whole Foods, local shops, bars and restaurants are all very walkable, or rent a Divy bike for the day. There's also plenty of street parking available on our scenic side street if you are driving! Athough we do not offer laundry on site, there is a local laundromat within walking distance. We also kindly request that all smoking be done outside or on the balcony. No smoking inside.
