This loft was originally the studio of a painter built in the style of a Dutch barn surrounded by 25 acres of forest with 2 miles of private trails, 1/4 mile along a creek with a private swimming hole. The land adjacent to a 60-acre nature preserve, ideal for those seeking nature and tranquility. The location is convenient to explore the Hudson Valley – about 2 miles from Woodstock and 8 miles from historic Kingston. A great place to enjoy nature and explore the best of the Catskills. The space This loft/studio located in the woods with no sight of other houses provides a true wilderness experience. For those who enjoy walking, there are over 2.5 miles of wooded trails at this property and 3 miles of trails over grassland at the adjacent preserve. A quarter mile of creek frontage behind the studio with a 300 feet private swimming hole. Guest access Walk and mountain biking on all trails on the property. Some of the trees in the woods are marked as a disc golf course. The hosts live in the main house on the other side of a small hill about 500 feet away which has a sauna can be accessed by guests. Other things to note The second bed is a day bed, good for lounging but not as comfortable for sleeping.
