The cottage has 2 master suites, a full kitchen, a large living room with cable TV, internet, books and games and a private back yard. The cottage shares a wall with our private home. There is NO washer/dryer. There is off-street parking. The cottage is ideal for couples or families staying in the area. Our home and the cottage sit in a peaceful country setting, on a quiet dead end street. We are next to farm land, and walkable to downtown Carlton's shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms and the community outdoor pool (open in the summer months). It's the ideal location for those looking for a quiet retreat, but able to easily access the wine country. The space is roughly 1000 square feet, has a large living area, large kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with an attached bathroom, and a private back-yard. Front and back entries are completely private as well as access to the backyard. Minimal, unless we run into each other outside or the guest requests interaction for some reason. We live next door but the cottage is very private. The Cottage is located in the Oregon wine country, central to vineyards and wineries and walkable to downtown Carlton's many tasting rooms, restaurants and shops. The private back yard has a paver patio with table for four, a BBQ, fire pit and planter with strawberries and an apple tree. The price per night has the city tax built into it, since Airbnb does not have a space to list the (7%) city tax.
