The cave is a natural underground, sustainable and bioclimatic house with a pleasant temperature throughout the year. It is a mountain place and with its 1200 m above sea level. The area is less hot in summer than many other places due to its geography, and it cools down nicely at night. It's 1 km from town. It's in a quiet and authentic area, in a neighborhood called "Cuevas de Almería." Only the adventurous will discover this little hidden gem right on the edge of the Sierra de Baza Natural Park. It is located in the middle of nature with the Gor River at its feet, the Gor hill in front and the village 1 km away. Gor, located in the Guadix region, is a quiet town with a bakery, butcher shop, pharmacy, mini supermarket, and a few tapas bars. It's an authentic area. The views from the accommodation are fabulous, and nothing is more sensational than observing the constellations of stars on one of these magical nights during your stay. Casa Olivia, hand-hewn for over 300 years, is now a renovated cave-house with lots of natural light. It's a modernized natural dwelling that conveys peace and tranquility and has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The province of Granada, with the UNESCO World Geopark of Granada and its beautiful villages, such as Gor, hides a lot of beauty and authenticity and is still land to explore. The environment invites you to relax, meditate, enjoy nature or play sports such as cycling, running, water activities in the Negratín reservoir and many more. There are also many tourist attractions within a 25 km radius, such as the Geopark of Granada, Guadix, Baza, Goráfe, and La Calahora near Guadix. The fascinating city of Granada is 45 minutes away. Casa Olivia is much more than you expect. Just by opening the front door, you can tell that it's a special, cozy place that's different from the usual.
