Beautiful cozy cave, Casa Olivia

The cave is a natural house underground, sustainable and bioclimatic with a comfortable temperature all year round. Renovated with a lot of love mixing the old with the modern, I have created a cozy and Zen atmosphere. It is very welcoming the same in summer as in winter. It is a mountain location at 1200 m above sea level, and 1 km from the center of Gor. The area is less hot in summer than many other places due to its geography, and it cools down nicely at night. The municipal pool is free in summer. The space Casa Olivia is located in the magical village GOR, added to the network of Pueblos Mágicos of Spain. It is in a quiet and authentic area, in a neighborhood called the '' Cuevas de Almeria". Only the daring will discover this little hidden gem right on the edge of the Sierra de Baza Natural Park. It is located in the middle of nature with the Gor River at its feet, the Gor hill in front and the center of the village 1 m away. Gor, located in the Guadix region, is a quiet town with a bakery, butcher shop, pharmacy, mini supermarket, hardware store, and some tapas bars. It's an authentic area. The views from the accommodation are fabulous and nothing is more sensational than observing the constellations of the stars one of these magical nights during your stay. Casa Olivia, chopped by hand for over 300 years, is now a renovated cave house, where lots of natural light comes in. It's an updated natural home that conveys peace and quiet. It has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The province of Granada with the Unesco World Geopark of Granada and its beautiful villages, such as Gor, hide a lot of beauty and authenticity and is still land to explore. The environment invites you to relax, meditate, enjoy nature or do sports such as cycling, running, water activities in the Negratín reservoir and many more. There are also many tourist attractions within a 25 km radius, such as the Granada Geopark, Guadix, Baza and Goráfe. La Calahora near Guadix with its castle that is worth visiting, and 45 minutes away is the fascinating city of Granada. Casa Olivia is much more than you expect, and as soon as you open the front door, you realize that it is a cozy, special place that is very different from the ordinary.
