The space This spacious, self-contained guest suite with own locking door is approximately 700 square feet and is located on the lower level of our home. It is an above ground walk out that is fully separated and has a separate entrance, huge windows in each room and a patio door making it very bright and airy. PATIO/HOT TUB : Your patio door leads to a *private patio and hot tub* (only 3 steps from patio door) which is *exclusively* for your use. This area looks onto a beautiful forest at the back of the property. Perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes or trails, of which there are many nearby! There is also a private bbq, fire pit, lounging and eating area. Available to use year round! We are located next to Mount St. Louis Ski Resort in a beautiful, quiet rural subdivision only 2 minutes from Hwy 400. Our property is approximately 1 acre. KITCHEN: Large eat-in kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking including a full size fridge/freezer, stove and microwave. The oven even has a built-in air fryer! High top table and a beverage station complete this space. LIVING ROOM /BEDROOM : Huge open concept living room/bedroom with lounge area - large sectional, 55" TV with Firestick, Netflix & many other channels. A queen bed, closet and a pair of night tables. You can enjoy the view of our private yard and forest through the patio doors right from your bed! There is also a daybed with oversized soft pillows that can be used to snuggle up by the window with a good book or use as a single bed. There is a cozy sitting area for 2 in front of the gas fireplace that overlooks the yard and garden. This could also be a perfect spot for a yoga practice in front of the fireplace. WASHROOM : 3 piece washroom with large European style walk in shower. There is an extra wall heater in here to keep it nice and toasty warm for you. LAUNDRY : In suite laundry facilities with large stainless laundry sink. You are guaranteed to see and hear a variety of birds while you're here, and you may also catch a glimpse of some deer or our neighbourhood red fox. We also have reliable Bell Fibe high speed internet if you need to stay connected to work, as well as built in USB ports. You can easily set up a workspace at the beverage station in the kitchen where you won't have to reach too far for another ☕ ➖IG: recreationhaven➖ Guest access Private, self contained guest suite on lower level - which is separated from the rest of the house and has private entrance from outside. Ideal for single, couple or small family (1-3 people) Hosts live upstairs. There is soundproof insulation in ceiling. Left side of driveway for guest parking. Fits 1 larger vehicle or 2 *small* cars 12' × 36' furnished patio with hot tub for guest's use exclusively. ~Onus on guests for their own safety while using hot tub. Propane bbq and dining area under deck is also for guest use (not shared). Propane refill will be your responsibility if you are here for an extended time. Yard is shared with host's family, however, we are rarely out there. Pool and decks are not available for guest use. Safety gate to deck and pool in place. *We do shovel/salt/sand in the winter, however please be cautious when walking outside. This is a snowy area, and sometimes it is not possible to keep up with Mother Nature! Other things to note Living room and bedroom are open concept as shown in photos. **A couple pesky little things about being in the country: There are mosquitoes here in the spring/early summer. You may find enabling the wifi calling feature on your cell phone is helpful if you need to make phone calls. (Bell Fibe high speed internet) Winter is very snowy here! Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy the amenities and recreation in the area, or for a peaceful, quiet getaway, birthday, anniversary or wedding celebration. Mid-term stays also available if in need of fully furnished place due to work relocation, house build or renovation delays, seasonal skiers, ski team members, etc.
