The Five Horizons Lake House! Come and enjoy the long summer days on the lake with our huge dock! Come and swim in the refreshing Southern Michigan waters of Long Lake - Cloverdale, sit in the sun on our deck, enjoy a kayak trip during the day, and enjoy barbeque and sunsets at night. There are multiple decks to enjoy the lake views! The space Welcome to The Five Horizons Lake House! We're so glad to host your stay with us! The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. One bedroom has 1 queen bed and the other has 2 bunkbeds (4 bunks), perfect for a large family or two 2 small families. There are 2 twin pull-out cots available on site to create even more versatile sleeping arrangements. The house layout features all of the sleeping areas on the upper level. On the main floor, you will find a dining area, a small hangout area, and a fully functional kitchen. The bathroom is also on the main floor. Once you walk out of the slider, enjoy the amazing view down to the water from the upper deck area. From there, you can head down the flight of stairs to the deck and, of course, down to the lake! This is a family-friendly lake community/environment intended to host groups looking to have family-friendly summer/fall fun on the water. If that is what you are looking for, this is an amazing spot. The swimming, fishing, and kayaking are amazing. You are also welcome to jump off our floating raft (no diving) out in the lake to your heart's content. However, strict quiet hours are observed at 10 PM on weekends (9 pm on weekdays). This is not a great fit if you are looking for a more raucous/late-night environment. Guest access You will have full access to the entire home- Parking- There is parking space available for 2-3 small/medium-sized cars. There is probably space for 2 cars max, if any of them are on the larger size. There are two spaces directly in front of the property, butting up to a small wooden fence. This fence has the 6863 address number on a post at each end of the parking spaces. There is adequate room for another small to midsize car on a cement slab directly west of the main parking area. This has recently had a shed and large tree removed for additional parking. Finally, there is room across the street for one additional small to midsize car to park parallel to the road in a small, cleared-out area just off the road. Our area across the street is directly across from our next-door neighbor to the west and runs up to a small stump, which has been blocked off with some yard posts. Because this area features many small cottages in close proximity to each other with their own parking needs on a small private road, parking is absolutely limited to what is described above. Boat rental • Boat rental may be available through a preferred third-party vendor-please contact us upon booking for more information. • We allow boat rentals at our property only through our preferred third-party vendor. • If a boat is rented and docked at our property, we will charge a 1-time $75.00 dock usage fee for the entire length of the boat rental. • Boat availability cannot be guaranteed, but the earlier guest(s) call to reserve a boat, the more likely it will be that a boat is available. Other things to note We have 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards complimentary with your stay! There typically are other water toys available on site throughout the summer as well, most notably a large, green "lily pad" for play out on the water. We have a dock to tie up for boating, and there is a boat launch a short float from our home! Please make sure to use the required and supplied life vest(s) at all times when boating or going into the water.
