Our country Inn and Spa sits adjacent to the Three Daggers with amazing views over the scenic village of Edington and the White Horse. All the rooms are en-suite with a communal lounge and kitchen area. We have 2 rooms downstairs and 4 rooms upstairs all with en suite bathrooms. Breakfast is served at the Three Daggers pub across the road. The country Inn also benefits from a spa treatment room where you can pre-book treatments to ensure your stay is a relaxing one. The space Rooms at Hillside Cottage, across the road from the Three Daggers, can be individually booked offering the height of luxury and a quiet space. With large communal spaces its like a small private hotel where each room has stunning views of the countryside or garden. A hidden gem in the Wiltshire countryside, Hillside Cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all and find a secluded spot where you can relax, explore and enjoy. Come alone or gather together a group of friends for a getaway weekend, family for a reunion, celebrations, or use Hillside Cottage as a base to explore the countryside. Each of the six individual rooms are ensuite but have shared access to a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with dining table and beautiful gardens with the most extraordinary views. At the bottom of the drive and only a few steps from Hillside Cottage is the award-winning Three Daggers Pub, Brewery and Farm Shop. Book a table at the pub and enjoy a pint at the bar, brewed onsite in our own brewery. The Three Daggers Farm Shop next door has a range of food from fresh produce to picnic favourites; sausage rolls, scotch eggs, pies and salads. As well as drinks, crisps, and cakes you'll also find a well stocked gift shop and freshly made coffee. We also can offer you the ultimate in relaxation with massage and wellness treatments in the Wellness Barn, located next door to Hillside Cottage. Pre-book your treatment to ensure your stay is a relaxing one. Please note that only therapist treatments are available and that hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and steam room can only be used by guests who have booked exclusive use of Hillside Cottage. Above the Three Daggers, take a quick hike to Salisbury Plain and the historic site of the Battle of Ethandun. You will also step past Neolithic Long Barrows left from the time of Stonehenge, Iron Age Hill Forts, a medieval priory and dozens of 18th and 19th century buildings. In later years, the nearby area and village of Imber was repurposed as a training ground for American troops preparing for the battles of World War II and remains an active training ground today. Nearby Keevil Airfield was also the launching point for many SOE agents to parachute into occupied Europe and played its part in D-Day. Breakfast is served at the Three Daggers pub across the road.
