The apartment is described as small but actually there’s plenty of room. It’s within a couple of minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens, which are lovely. The main street and shops are only a few more minutes away too and the waterfront isn’t much further. Beware of the cake shops though! Far too many and far too tempting! The 96 tram takes you straight into the centre of the city and the South Melbourne Market is well worth a visit on the way.
