Enjoy the walking trails, creek on-site and cedar sauna/cold plunge pool. Rustic, romantic "treehouse" cabin on 5 wooded acres just minutes from the Olympic National Forest. There is a cedar sauna and seasonal creek-fed cold plunge pool just a few minutes walk down a beautiful trail on-site. The cabin is built on tall stilts to look and feel just like a treehouse! Inside, there is a full bed in the loft and twin bed downstairs that serves as a couch. Wood-burning stove provides cozy atmosphere and efficient heat in Winter. Guests BYO firewood. There is a mini fridge, electric tea kettle and fire pit as well as a charcoal BBQ outside for cooking. Guests BYO charcoal or campstove. There is NO running water or shower but there is a very clean port-a-potty and an outdoor sink for hand-washing and dishes. Mattresses are super comfortable/newer. We provide sheets and towels, but guests bring their own blankets. Sleeping bags work great!! We suggest bringing picnic type food or plan to cook using a camp stove or use the charcoal BBQ (BYO charcoal or stove). There is no cooking allowed inside the treehouse. Please note that our family cabin shares this property and we may be around during guest stays but there is ample space for privacy. No pets. Not appropriate for very young children. Most cars make it just fine if not overly heavy but 4 wheel-drive is recommended. If you have to park at the bottom, its about 1/4 mile walk uphill to the cabin. BYO sleeping bags/blankets, firewood/charcoal. Access to treehouse by stairs and loft bed is accessible by ladder.
