The Waterfalls room is the only one of the four Rooms at the Stone Mill on the top floor. Windows flood the space with light and afford exceptional views of Otter Creek, the pedestrian bridge & Marbleworks. Inside the room, two comfortable leather chairs encourage relaxation. The skylight supports stargazing as you fall asleep. The Queen bed is dressed in luxurious sheets and blankets from Slate Home (find them in the Public Market!) to support a restful night sleep. This room is on the top floor, there are three similar private rooms on the floor below it. Guests have access to their own room and en suite bathroom. There is a shared common area with a couch and chairs. The kitchenette area includes a full size refrigerator for wine, cheese and snacks. Wifi will work on the outdoor deck and terrace in addition to the room and common area. Before you arrive you'll get an email with access codes to enter the building after hours, use the elevator and open your room. Mary and Stacey will be available via phone and you are likely to see them in the Public Market from time to time. The Rooms at The Stone Mill are in a beautiful part of downtown Middlebury, just off Main Street and super close to extensive parking. You can walk to campus, pick up the Trail Around Middlebury for a walk or run or stop in to any of the shops & restaurants on Main Street. Downtown Middlebury is very walkable, to Middlebury College campus & Main Street. Hiking trails are plentiful. Day hikes with rewarding vistas, tremendous biking routes, and swimming holes are just a little further afield. Most guests come to enjoy all that Middlebury has to offer - trails, biking, the College, watering holes, fall foliage, downhill and cross country skiing or snowshoeing. If you find yourself needing to binge your favorite show, TV access is provided via ROKU, so bring your passwords with you and watch like you are at home. Self check in details will be sent at 6pm the day before your arrival.
