Located on Union Street, overlooking Cal Poly Humboldt, this quiet, roomy and comfortable upstairs apartment gives you unparalleled access to campus and Arcata's renown 2350 acre community forest, while still being less than a mile to Arcata's central plaza and everything the downtown area has to offer. A great home base for your Northcoast adventures, whether in town, up and down our scenic coastline, or exploring Humboldt County's epic National and State parks. The space This is a small, older apartment building with five unique apartments. All of the other spaces are inhabited by long term tenants who are lovely and very quiet. Even though this is adjacent to campus, this is not rowdy student location at all, so you can expect a peaceful stay with lovely neighbors. Other things to note Our house rules and City of Arcata requirements mean that this property is strictly "No Smoking Anywhere on The Premises". This is not the same as "no smoking inside". If you or anyone in your party wishes to smoke/vape or use e-cigarettes of any kind, please make sure that you physically leave the property. Because this requirement is commonly misunderstood by smokers, we prefer that you book elsewhere if you or anyone in your party is a smoker. Also, this is also a strictly pet free property. None of our regular tenants have cats, dogs, etc, and we ask that you not bring yours.
