The space A few blocks from the base of UCSC, above the fog, yet 10 minutes drive to downtown and the beach, with ample street parking (permits provided). Sunny cottage is clean and comfortable with eclectic and reclaimed details. A private, honeysuckle lined walkway leads to a large patio with shaded dining area. Bright with high ceilings and large skylights, Two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds and a mix of 100% cotton and organic bedding. A fully stocked kitchen includes dishes, cook and bakeware as well as basic spices, oil, coffee, tea, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave and a reverse osmosis water filtration system. Please note there is no AC and no inside dining table. Pack and play and highchair available- please message me to ensure they are accessible during your stay. Plenty of fluffy towels. Beach towels also provided. Wifi and Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime video and Hulu. Back patio has spa and comfortable lounge area. ***We ask that guests keep voices to a whisper if out on the patio after 10pm*** Guest access Cottage is totally detached and has its own entrance with 2 private patios. Other things to note Pet Policy We allow one well-behaved dog but please reach out before booking to discuss the details. A $75 fee per stay applies for one pet. This is a small space, and large dogs may be difficult to accommodate. Please check with us in advance if your dog is on the larger side. There are no on-site areas for pet bathroom use. All bathroom breaks must be done off property. There is a church across the street and a park a few blocks away. Pets may not be left outside unattended at any time. Pets should not be left alone inside unless they are calm, crate-trained, and unlikely to cause damage or excessive noise. Please keep pets off furniture and beds, and bring your own pet bedding. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. All pet waste must be bagged and disposed of in the outside trash bin. Any damage or extra cleaning related to pets may result in additional charges. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional fees or cancellation of the remainder of the stay without refund.
