Private log cabin at Windswept Farm

If you are looking for a get-away experience with a beautiful mountain backdrop, this is it. Nestled into 300+ private acres of cattle land and woods, our cabin overlooks rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of adventures are nearby too - world-class white-water rafting on the Ocoee River, or for a quieter adventure, try fly-fishing or tubing down the Hiwassee River. And as this is a working cattle farm, premium beef is usually available for purchase while you're here. The space Inside the cabin, you'll enjoy cooking in the open kitchen and curling up by the large stone fireplace with a good book or favorite movie. The main bedroom suite is wheelchair friendly. There are rocking chairs on the porch so you can watch the sunset change the color of the mountains. Our farm is a working beef cattle farm. So you might be able to see one of the herds in the pasture in front of the cabin. If you'd like to purchase cuts of Red Wagu/Angus beef while you're here, just let us know and we will do our best to arrange that - based on availability. Other things to note Please note that although the cabin can sleep six, we charge $15 per guest over four each night to offset extra cleaning requirements.
