Stunning views near Montgomery

Red Kite Cottage is situated just over a mile from Montgomery and five miles from Powis Castle, and offers free use of an EV charger. There are a number of well documented local walks and the hosts are keen golfers. We know several good eateries within five miles. The view from both the bedroom and the kitchen is one of many fine views in Montgomeryshire. There are two seating areas on the private decking area and sun loungers are available on request. The space The accommodation, a former pigsty, provides privacy and is completely self-contained. The kitchen is well equipped with oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, extractor fan, integrated fridge with small freezer. You will find all you needed to get started in the kitchen – tea towels, dishcloths, washing up liquid, bin liners, tea, coffee, sugar plus fresh milk in the fridge and ice in the freezer. There is crockery, cutlery, utensils and cooking equipment. Guest access Our guests will have exclusive use of Red Kite Cottage and the decking area. Please note that the accommodation is attached to the main house. Also, guests need to walk in front of the main house to access Red Kite Cottage. Every effort has been made to ensure your privacy and enhance your enjoyment of the stunning views. Other things to note Please do not ask for less than a two night stay as it is not possible to accommodate this request. Only guests with previous Airbnb reviews may book. We are in the countryside and mobile signal is sometimes weak. Also, there is some farm traffic at harvest time. Most of our guests enjoy the fact that when they come to Red Kite Cottage they have peace and quiet and are able to ‘switch off’. There are small recycling bins in the kitchen and we ask guests to transfer their recycling to the recycling bins, in the barn, on leaving. Information about this will be in the Welcome Booklet.
