Description
Down The Garden Path B&B introduces Chloe, a beautiful, recently restored French Vintage caravan. Chloe is set in her own private wildlife area in our lovely garden in Hennock, a small Devonshire village on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, overlooking the Teign Valley. The wildlife area has been designed with guests in mind who love the countryside, but who also value their creature comforts. And yes, it is possible to have both! The space Inside Chloe, bijou as she is, is plenty of space for all you will need for a very comfortable stay. There is a separate toilet with plumbed-in flushing toilet, and mains water basin with water heater. ‘The Shower Shack’, a private electric-powered shower room, is just outside the caravan door. There are towels, waffle gowns and flip-flops available for guests’ use during their stay, and free toiletries. The bed is a ‘snuggle’ bed (small double) befitting Chloe’s size, but extremely comfortable. There is plenty of storage for clothes, a well-stocked tea and coffee station and free filtered water available every day in a fridge available for guests’ use nearby. Guests can make use of the sun awning and outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the morning and evening sunshine. Chloe has mains electricity, plug-in USB ports and reasonable 4G coverage. Wi-Fi is not available inside Chloe, but is available in the gazebo and in the garden. Breakfast (Full English or Artisan) is available at an additional cost of £9.50. Breakfast is served to guests on the nearby terrace with its beautiful views over the Teign Valley. Please note that Breakfast is not included in the nightly rate. Available with advanced notice and additional cost is our Afternoon Devon Cream Tea on the terrace, a packed lunch and our Romantic Cream Tea Picnic including strawberries, with a vintage tablecloth, all packed in a basket hamper ready to go. In addition, there is a home-cooked two-course dinner menu available (booked in advance) at a very competitive rate, using fresh, local produce. In keeping with our love of our garden and nature, Chloe’s wildlife area is filled with beautiful plants, wildlife pond and a variety of birds, bees, insects and butterflies for guests to watch and explore. Just yards from Chloe there is the Garden ‘Pamper Palace’, with sauna, foot spa and our own range of homemade toiletries to try out, which are also available to purchase.
