The logs are reclaimed from two 18th century homes in Abingdon Va. The space The cabin is profoundly relaxing due to the calm silence and comforting design. The house has a lot of character, as there's wormy chestnut, reclaimed barn wood, & many other features that are not common in today's homes. The flooring was carefully installed using flat head nails, time noted. The open space allows for entertaining yet the layout has a cozy appeal. The downstairs bedrooms decor is of reclaimed barn wood, metal ceiling & can lights. The bathroom exterior is replicated as an "out-house" (It has a clawfoot tub).The 120sqft covered porch has a swing for those cool evenings and a 36ft long deck on the back to enjoy time with friends and outdoor dining. It is cozy and serene, as the home is surrounded by laurels and trees. Dogs are welcome at $35 per dog, they must be well behaved. 2 dog limit. At this time the fireplace does not work.
