This cosy garden studio unit has its own private entrance, full kitchen, and bath. It is located 3 minutes from Highway 80 and directly across the street from Alvarado Park and Wild Cat Canyon Regional Park with biking and hiking trails. The property is just north of Berkeley, only about 15-20 minutes from U.C. Berkeley. It is near a variety of grocery stores and restaurants, a 2-minute walk to the bus line into Berkeley, and 5 minutes from BART by car. The unit is fully furnished with a relaxing view of our west-facing enclosed back yard. French doors open onto an outdoor patio, with table and chairs. The outdoor space is shared but rarely used by the owners. The unit includes a living room/bedroom with a comfortable sofabed that easily converts for sleeping and has built-in storage for bedding during the day, The unit also includes a fully-equipped kitchen with granite counters, induction stovetop, double sink, and ample storage, as well as an en-suite bathroom with tub and shower. In addition to the full studio, guests have access to a laundry room with washer, dryer, and sink. Deborah and Bill live upstairs and are happy to answer any questions about the area, the apartment, and anything else we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible. During the day one or both of us is often at work, but if we're not there and you want to get in touch with us we'll respond as quickly as possible. Our neighborhood is lovely and quiet, located at the base of the north end of the hills in the East Bay and nestled into the pocket of a regional park with beautiful trails and nature. We are close to BART, only a 5 minute drive away with a bus stop near the end of the block, as well as quick access to the East Bay's major highway 80, but far enough from the highway and the main street to not have to worry about too much noise. If you are bringing a car there is plenty of on-street parking.
