MacLeod House Guest Cottage-Nature lovers' getaway

MacLeod House Guest Cottage is a self-contained stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The open plan accommodation is decorated in an Edwardian style but with all the modern conveniences you might require. The cottage overlooks the magnificent Krantzkloof gorge. There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. A 'must see' for nature lovers. The space The main living area and bedroom are open plan with a separate kitchen. The bathroom boasts a French antique stain glass dome above the bathtub and a fireplace. There is an outdoor shower overlooking the gorge. An elevated covered dining area overlooks the garden. Guest access The cottage is detached but the swimming pool is located in front of the main house. Guests have full access to the garden. Other things to note The cottage is fitted with an inverter and UPS device to alleviate the inconvenience of power outages (Loadshedding). Please note that the cottage is not suitable for guests with mobility needs. Due to the nature of the property and the proximity to the edge of Krantzkloof Gorge, accommodation is not suitable for children. This is purely for safety reasons.
