This, recently built, 880 sq. ft. cabin is situated on 3/4 acre with many indoor and outdoor amenities. Located less than a mile away from the popular Elk Country Visitors Center! When you walk up to the covered front porch you will find a fully furnished outdoor sitting area for 4. Here is where you can enjoy the majestic sunrise of the mountains! Upon entering, the main room features a full kitchen (no stove), dining area, and sitting area with a full size sleeper sofa. To the right, beyond the sitting area, you will find the bedroom equipped with 1 queen bed and 2 dressers. To the left, beyond the kitchen, you will find the bathroom equipped with a sink, toilet, and standing shower. Through the main room, you will enter into a larger living room that features a large sectional sofa with a queen size sleeper in it as well as an additional dresser. This bonus room is where you can find the Roku TV, along with complimentary movies, radio, puzzles, and board games for your enjoyment during your stay. There are 2 sets of sliding glass doors that lead out to an expansive, partially covered, back deck. This outdoor area has plenty of room for grilling on the gas grill, dining at the outdoor table, or relaxing underneath the solar powered LED lit umbrella. ** Please note that our cabin uses a rainwater system for the shower, toilet, and sinks. Filtered water is provided for your cooking and drinking needs. There is no part of this home that is restricted. You will have this piece of paradise all to yourselves! There is a gated private driveway with complimentary parking. The cabin is in a small, safe area with residential neighbors. We ask that you be kind and courteous to them by respecting our house rules! This cabin, nestled on a mountainside, is located in a small area of other privately owned residences and rented cabins. Enjoy the views by taking a nice walk around the neighborhood. The remote area of Benezette is a wonderful getaway from the normal hustle and bustle. Please keep in mind that cell phone service here is intermittent, depending on your provider, so plan ahead! To assist with your planning, we highly recommend looking into the area of the PA Wilds as you will be centrally located in the region during your stay. There is so much to see and explore, we hope you enjoy your time here! Please be respectful of all wildlife- especially the elk! You will want to have your camera handy, but remember to not get too close, as they are wild animals. Benezette is located approximately 30 minutes away from larger stores. Keeping that in mind, we suggest bringing your favorite foods and essentials with you.
