Gorgeous Onetangi haven with bush & sea views

This light, warm & spacious home backs onto lush native bush while enjoying a large north-facing deck with glimpses of the sea. Enjoy the tui, fantail and kaka at your doorstep or head down the hill to Onetangi Beach - just a 20-minute walk away (or 5 min drive) - with its long sandy beach and superb cafes and restaurants. This house has everything you need to relax and unwind. This is our treasured family home - we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The space This house has been built for comfort - the carpeted living room with oversized sofa, has large windows looking onto the native bush - the perfect spot to snuggle in with a good book or to watch a movie and relax. This can be closed off from the large open plan kitchen, dining, and additional living area which opens out onto a large covered deck with modern glass balustrades and is equipped with outdoor lounge and dining furniture and a BBQ. The carpeted main bedroom (with ensuite) has sliding doors opening to the front deck. The second bedroom has views of the native bush at the back of the property. The third and smaller bedroom is equipped with a trundler bed (king single on top and a single which can be set up on the ground trundler or next to the king single to make a big bed). A large fully equipped laundry area connects through to the back deck and operates as a second entrance. The back deck is covered and has a heated outdoor shower -perfect for after a day at the beach. The backyard is fully fenced although probably not the best for any escape artist dogs who may find a way out through smaller gaps. If you're bringing a furry friend, please let us know beforehand - we can't have any barkers sorry as no good for close neighbours. We welcome dogs but they need to be on leashes outside of fenced area and must remain off furniture. Our family dog will be staying with the neighbours. She's very friendly and will likely pop over and say hi. If you have extra guests, please request this first. We have some floor mattresses and extra bedding that we can set up if needed. Guest access You'll have full access to the whole house. As we live here permanently the house will have our possessions around so we ask you to respect the property as you would your own home and put back anything where you got it from. As you would expect, the house looks "lived-in". Other things to note The house shares a driveway and parking bay with the neighbour's property. You will be able to see the back of the neighbour's home and their front entrance from one side of the house and deck. We ask that you respect the close proximity and keep noise to reasonable levels. Additionally, you will only be able to use the allocated parking spaces provided.
