Artsy Apartment, walk to W. Asheville

Our guest suite is a vibrant and tranquil retreat, filled with original artwork and one-of-a-kind handcrafted items. Enjoy cozy linens on a king-size bed, bathrobes, morning coffee in a handmade mug, and a private patio with peaceful views of a wooded park. Just a 10-minute drive to downtown or the River Arts District, and just a mile to the heart of charming West Asheville. If you’re seeking a quiet, comfortable escape that’s close to everything, we’d love to host you! The space The guest apartment is on the lower level of our home. There is a private patio, fully equipped kitchen for cooking, a large bedroom, a full size walk-in shower, a desk for remote working and fiberoptic cable internet, a comfy sofa and Smart tv. There is an interior door between the suite and a downstairs den that remains locked; no one will enter the suite from our side. You will hear footsteps above the living area when we walk in our bedroom upstairs, but you will rarely hear footsteps above the bedroom. You occasionally might hear muffled sounds (dogs playing, Molly on a work call) in the downstairs den but we try to be very considerate, and there is a white noise fan that is helpful. (No one has ever complained about noise.) Parking is on the street. The private entrance to the guest suite is around back of the house (approx 30 yards). There is pathway lighting along the walkway but no flood lighting. Our dogs don't have access to any area associated with the apartment. Our sweet and friendly cat might meow at your door (she loves our guests) but please give her attention outside. Because the suite's living room is below our bedroom upstairs, we request "quieter" hours after 10:00 pm (no super loud tv, for example). Guest access Guests are invited to enjoy the private outdoor patio, shared backyard, and creek trail accessible from the property. Other things to note You’re welcome to request early check in or late check out; the availability depends on other guests who may be checking in/out that day but I’ll try my best to accommodate your request. If you are highly allergic to pets, especially cats, our place might not be suitable for you as our pets occasionally visit guests inside the apartment.
