Forget your worries in our spacious and serene bungalow. This peaceful home comes with a beautiful history & provides for its residents, whatever the season. You're in the the quiet woods but just a 10 minute drive to Woodstock town centre, 15 minutes to Saugerties & close to the hiking/skiing of Hunter Mountain & the Catskills. With two hiking trails on the property, a huge heated saltwater pool, there's plenty to explore, or get cosy alongside one of the 3 indoor fireplaces after a hot steam. The space This hideaway sits on 9 acres of land, surrounded by 200 acres of protected woodlands which has been donated to the Woodstock Conservation Society, offering multiple walking trails at your doorstep. It's very peaceful - you rarely see or hear neighbors but are likely to come across a deer or two. There’s a huge heated saltwater pool (open seasonally starting May 14) with a BBQ and everything you need to have a great summer! The space is even better in fall or in the winter with 3 functioning fireplaces, a steam room and hiking or skiing trails on your doorstep. This is a spacious yet cosy bungalow: - Disconnect or use the mesh Wi-Fi system throughout the house to work from your home away from home! Backup generator means that you will never be without power if you want to stay connected… - Nest smart speakers throughout the house to listen to anything you desire - Large, fully-stocked open kitchen with two living rooms and dining room - Conservatory/breakfast room - Main bathroom with shower steam room - Three bedrooms on the first level: -- Bedroom 1: Primary bedroom with fireplace and ensuite bathroom & bathtub -- Bedroom 2: Large room with double bed and storage -- Bedroom 3/Study: Smaller room with double / full sofa bed (good for 2 people) and skylight - Basement with washer & dryer (requires use of stairs) Guest access There is parking available outside for up to 3 cars and a garage space for 1 car. Lights are provided around the private entrance to easily access the home. Other things to note The washer / dryer & electrical board are in the basement which requires climbing stairs but otherwise all other rooms are on a single level (same floor). A couple with a friendly dog live on the property (in a separate home) to look after the land. They are very quiet and keep to themselves so it's likely you wouldn't see them during your stay. Aside from the TV, there's a large projector that can be set up in the house or in the garden for movie nights. It can be easily connected to a laptop & streaming service. The pool is seasonal and open mid-May to end of September. MAXIMUM GUESTS / PETS We allow pets but only up to TWO. Please state accurately how many guests (up to 6) and pets (up to 2) you are bringing so we can prepare the house.
