Less than 2 hours from DC/Northern Virginia and 1 hour from Charlottesville, this adorable cottage is perfect for a couple looking to escape to the blue ridge mountains and enjoy all the area has to offer. The space The Cottage at Blue Ridge View was completely renovated in 2020 and now it proudly hosts travelers who seek the peace and serenity that Madison and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia have to offer. This one bedroom cottage offers an open floor plan living/dining space, a private bedroom and spacious bathroom. There is also a small patio area that is perfect for enjoying your spoils from one of the numerous wineries or breweries of the area. Enjoy some of the hiking trails throughout the area including some of the most famous in the blue ridge valley located on Skyline Drive. The seclusion of cottage is a huge draw for most travelers, however being nestled in the blue ridge mountains means we have limited internet reception that is less reliable than you might be used to (especially with inclement weather). To provide entertainment, we have a DVD player available with a small collection of DVD's. Additionally the Library is a few minutes drive and offers free wifi providing a quiet place to work when needed. Guest access You will have full access to all of the space in the cottage and on the patio at the cottage entrance by the parking area.
