Built by Alexander Cameron in 1869, it is within walking distance to the Main Street of Penola, giving easy access to restaurants, hotels, cafes and the historical Petticoat Lane. The cottage backs onto a family friendly town square, playground and public pool with plenty of room for your children to play. Dogs are welcome - larger dog owners please note that the fence is only 90cm high. The space Comfortable and quaint, Ulva cottage is a delightfully furnished property featuring two bedrooms – master with Queen bed, feather quilt, pure linen bedding and spare blankets. The second bedroom is very small with just 2 single beds, feather quilts and linen covers and a clothes hanger. ** Please bear in mind that the second bedroom adjoins the main bedroom with seperate access and is very small** Living room with RC split system, smart TV, stereo. Separate dining room with park outlook. Kitchen with good size fridge, double cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, Nespresso coffee, kettle, toaster. Some provisions for guests to prepare breakfast at their leisure Bathroom with shower over bath and generous full size toiletries. Hairdryer. Iron, ironing board. All linen provided. BBQ and outdoor setting under covered front veranda, overlooking a fully enclosed grassy front lawn ~ perfectly safe for your small dog to explore. Quiet street. On street parking out front. To keep rates to a minimum there is no free Wi-fi. *BREAKFAST PROVISIONS - tea, coffee, sugar, porridge and condiments plus bacon, eggs, bread and milk for first day. Guest access The entire property is available to guests, including the fenced yard, suitable for small to medium dogs. Larger dogs owners please note the secure fence is only 90cm high if they are prone to jump. Other things to note One of Penola’s oldest treasures, Ulva Cottage has been totally and sympathetically refurbished and, whilst retaining its original charm, is now a sparkling fresh space for guests to be comfortable and enjoy. This cottage is very old and has all the quirks expected of a building this age. There is no full oven, however there is a BBQ, microwave, cooktop and small convection oven for your use. To keep rates to a minimum there is no Wi-fi. No Laundry facilities - however “Odd Socks” Laundromat is located 300 metres away, just off the Main Street on Young Street.
