Private Studio with Kitchenette and Patio

Welcome to our tropical homestead! This unit has 1 double bed, 1 bathroom, a kitchenette, and a large patio. Our property is fully fenced and gated which provides safety and privacy. We are located just off the 307 Highway, tucked into a lovely jungle community only 3 km from the beach. We are located between Tulum and Playa del Carmen, making excursions to either location simple. The town of Akumal is a 3 minute drive away and has restaurants, a beach, a turtle and a monkey sanctuary, and more! The space The kitchenette is equip with a fridge, hotplate, microwave, basic cooking utensils, and dining ware. The unit does NOT have AC or hot water. Who needs a hot shower in the Mexican heat anyways! The unit does have a ceiling fan and a stationary fan. Located on a 1/4 hectare of beautiful partially cleared jungle, there are many opportunities to see Yucatan wildlife in its natural environment. There are tropical birds, iguanas and monkeys if you keep your eyes and ears open! We are in the process of changing the land into a tropical permaculture homestead. We have begun planting a variety of fruit trees and gardens. In the future guests will be able to enjoy fresh produce directly from the land. Guest access There is on site secure parking for guests arriving by car. There is a local bus shuttle that picks up and drops off at the entrance of our neighborhood on the 307 highway for guests who are not driving. Our community is safe to take a morning walk around and see the beautiful jungle and nature. The community is comprised of many small boutique hotels and private residences.
