Viognier is part of a former bastide, located in Canaules, a Piédmont Cévenol wine village, near Anduze with its restaurants, historical attractions etc. Canaules has a multi-service cafe and a post office. The space The apartment is roomy and stylish. The large main room with a vaulted stone ceiling includes a living room and a dining room with a well-equipped kitchen. French doors overlook a private terrace with a table, chairs and barbecue. The 2 large bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable with shower and en-suite toilet. Every room has ample storage space. Guest access The listing is fully available to guests. The Mas La Bastide des Lavandières swimming pool, shared with the other residents, is open access. Other things to note Viognier is on the ground floor and has wheelchair access directly into the living room from the private terrace. Canaules is a small French village full of charm whose main activity is the vine culture. This is a great base to explore the Cevennes and charming little towns nearby if you manage to leave the sparkling water from the Mas de la Bastide pool. 50 m from Mas, opposite the town hall, the village cafe welcomes you for lunch or dinner and for essential races. The medieval town of Anduze with its restaurants, small shops, activities for adults and children is nearby. The famous Bambouseraie can be reached in 15 minutes by car and why not go there by the famous Cevennes steam train? He departs from Anduze and stops at the bamboo garden and St Jean du Gard, made famous by Stevenson's path. Visit the Pont du Gard (30 minutes), the Roman city of Nîmes (30 minutes) with its many Roman monuments, including the best preserved Arenas in the world. Also discover the prehistoric caves of Trabuc, the medieval castle of Tornac or the mining town of Alès. Fans of gastronomy will be delighted by the many wineries in the region and will be able to participate in the tasting sessions of Costières de Nîmes, Pic Saint Loup, wines from the Duchy of Uzès or the famous Clairette de Bellegarde. Golfers will find their happiness on the courses of Nîmes Vaquerolles, Uzès, or Ribaute-les-Tavernes, all within 30 minutes' drive.
