Sunny, self-contained and spacious guest studio (2 guests maximum) purpose-built and completed in Feb 2020. The studio sits on a large north-facing elevated section next door to the host's Cottage. Enjoy panoramic views towards Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountain ranges from the window seat, lounge or deck. Conveniently located near the resort town of Wanaka (5 minute drive) and a 10 minute walk to the lakefront track. Off street parking is available. No campervans! The space This unique accommodation offers guests a semi-rural experience that is still conveniently close to the Wanaka town centre. The guest studio is well-insulated, modern and spacious. Its aspect provides shelter from the prevailing NW wind, maximises views towards Lake Wanaka and privacy for guests. There is a clothes line for guest use up a short path behind the studio. Please note that the Studio does NOT provide a TV or cooktop. Microwave only. Guest access The address is 179 Wanaka - Mt Aspiring Rd. Turn left at the 179 letterbox and follow the 'STUDIO' sign through the double wooden gates. Parking is at the end of the driveway. There is a short walking path up to the Studio. No campervans. The property is not suitable for campervans! Other things to note Please note: The nightly price is based on up to 2 guests sleeping in the Queen bed. Maximum guest numbers are 2 adults. The kitchen has a microwave for cooking. There is NO hot plate or oven. There is microwave-friendly cookware. The fridge does not have a freezer.
