Waratah Bay family beach house

Our mid-century beach house is located on a quiet street nestled amongst trees only a short walk (4min) to the beach. Enjoy beach activities, visits to Wilson Promontory, walks, bike riding or venture out to explore local towns. If you are after a more laid-back stay, relax and enjoy the tranquility of Waratah Bay, listening to ocean sounds. *** Minimum stay during school term holidays is 4 to 6 nights depending on the season. Please enquire. The space Split across three levels, the house is light-filled, with large windows providing views into the tree canopy, where birds and other local wildlife abound. The cosy lounge room opens up to a balcony overlooking tree ferns. There is a fire place and ceiling fans in the main living spaces. The bathrooms and kitchen are original and the kitchen has an electric oven and stove. The house is also equipped with a washing machine and a heater/air conditioner. The lounge room has a TV, DVD player, DVD's and a collection of board games. Bedroom 1: The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a cute reading nook, and ensuite with a shower and toilet. Bedroom 2: The downstairs bedroom has one bunk bed, a single bed with a trundle bed to pull out from underneath. Bedroom 3 - Studio: This space may be accessed only from outside. The entrance to the studio is close to the main entrance to the house. This room is very spacious and offers a queen bed and single bed including a couch. We provide pillows and doonas but you will need to bring your own linen and bath towels. Please let me know if this is tricky for you as we can organise linen at an extra cost (with enough notice). *** Minimum stay during school term holidays is 4 to 5 nights depending on the season. There may be flexibility if there are limited nights available during this time. Waratah Bay is a quiet little area with neighbours all around, so we don't allow parties, events, or schoolies. Guest access You'll have exclusive use of the house. Other things to note Technology TV - there is a free-to-air satellite TV and a selection of DVDs. WIFI - there is Satellite NBN WIFI with unlimited data. Water - the house is on rain water tanks so guest will need to be mindful of water usage during the summer months. Phone reception - if you are with Telstra you will get good mobile reception,. Optus/vodaphone users can usually get some reception at the beach. Pets The outdoor area is not fenced so it may not be suitable for your pet, but pets are welcome. Please enquire.
