Laberinto del Pacifico: Cloud Cabin Mountain View

Immerse yourself in nature at our picturesque ranch with spectacular mountain view. A relaxing escape designed for reconnecting with nature located in the heart of the forest of San Jose del Pacifico approx 3-4kms from the village center. You will need to travel 3kms on a steep mountain dirt road through the forest between the ranch & the highway. An SUV is recommended or you can catch a moto taxi in town upon arrival. Search 'Laberinto del Pacifico' on any search engine or I.G for more info. The space We are the guardians of 30 hectares of forest. The cozy Cloud Cabin has a king bedroom upstairs with a large terrace overlooking the mountain, an indoor fire place, a fully-equipped kitchen (with toaster oven), a lounge space (a third person can sleep on the couch) and a vast outdoor area to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We also have a temazcal (traditional sauna / sweat lodge) on the property. Feel free to ask us for more info or to book a session. There are no restaurants or shops by the cabin. The closest is 3kms away. Guest access The garden areas between the cabins are shared. The ranch workers are in and around the exterior area at times in the day between 8am and 5pm. You can see our location by searching 'Laberinto del Pacifico' on maps. We are located 4kms from the village center of San Jose del Pacifico. You will need to travel 3kms on a steep dirt road through the forest to get to our ranch, accessible by normal cars with care, a 4x4 is not necessary, but a high clearance vehicle is recommended. Please let us know if you would like us to organize a shuttle from San Jose del Pacifico for you. Other things to note We recommended minimum 2 nights for the whole experience. Please keep in mind that we are in a remote location and there can be temporary power outages in the area (including the village) particularly in the rainy season. RANCH RULES 1. Only use the biodegradable soap, shampoo and conditioner provided in the cabin. Do use soaps, shampoos or conditioners that are not biodegradable at the ranch. We reuse grey water from the tap and shower to water plants and trees. 2. Leave No Trace. Do NOT litter anywhere in or around the ranch. Please use garbage and recycling bins provided in your cabin. If you go for a hike, carry your garbage with you until you can dispose of it properly. 3. Try not to bring too much trash to the ranch. Be conscious about how much rubbish you generate. San Jose del Pacifico does not have rubbish collection facilities. Please take your rubbish with you. 4. Please take your single use plastics with you. Whatever you leave behind will stay in the forest. We do not burn plastic as it is harmful to our health and the eco-system. Please be conscious of how much rubbish you generate. 5. RECYCLE all the time, especially when you’re here. Please WASH perishables off your recyclable trash. Our trash is separated into TWO categories: (i) Organic matter (food scraps) *Use the plastic container with blue lid in the kitchen for organics. If this becomes full you can dispose of it in the BLUE compost barrel outside the bathroom windows at the bottom of the white staircase from the terrace. (ii) Carton / paper, Plastic, Aluminium, Glass *Use the small bin under the sink, if it gets full, you can put it in the big bin with grey lid outside the bathroom windows at the bottom of the white staircase from the terrace. 6. Please keep the kitchen clean at all times, we are in the forest, so any dirty plates or food scraps could attract unwanted critters and animals. 7. Do not flush toilet paper, tampons or mensturation pads. PLEASE use the bins provided in your cabin. 8. Do not bring pets to the ranch without written consent before your reservation. Dogs classified such as ‘dangerous’ are not permitted. 9. Do not invite people that are not on the reservation to your cabin. 10. Parties or events are not permitted without formally organizing with us beforehand. 11. Any damages caused by guests must be flagged with staff. This includes permanent stains on sheets, towels or rugs, broken croquery or kitchen appliances and damages to the walls, floors and/or furniture in the cabin. 12. Painting or scribbling on the walls of the cabins is SRICTLY PROHIBITED.
