Off the beaten path! 2 bedrooms Pet Friendly Separate bath house with tub and shower. Private, and Surrounded by Nature Composting Outhouse Use of Kayaks, Canoes, and boat floats. Power, A/c, and simple propane kitchen. The beds are so cozy, the firepit is waiting, and the bright Milkyway will surely make an appearance! Come enjoy a quiet weekend in the woods! The space Down a bumpy dirt road, You will find A simple little cabin in the woods. A perfect spot for Outdoor Adventurers! Built by Artists, this upcycled cabin offers 2 bedrooms, a bonus yoga/art loft, and a small lightly stocked kitchen with sitting area. Enjoy a light filled, first floor bedroom, with a Comfy King sized bed, and a small porch overlooking the forest. Up a ladder staircase, you will find the loft and a small guest room with a queen size mattress. The Outhouse is located about 200 ft away from the cabin. Or choose to use the indoor porta john, located in the mud room entry. Watch a colorful sunrise from bed, sip coffee on the porch, or walk barefoot down to the creek. Our landscape is full of native plants and animals, and we strive to live WITH nature, please respect the land. This is A dry cabin with no indoor plumbing. First 5 gallons of drinking/cooking water is provided. Reserve time at the bath house in the woods- and take a hot soak or shower a with a forest view. Available May- October** Check out our welcome pack for our favorite hikes, sunset spots, swimming holes and favorite places to kayak! There are a few in-town dining options. Looking for something different? Just a 30 minute drive to the Coast of Belfast, or the Capitol of Augusta for lots of options! Lake st George, the 4th largest spring fed Lake in Maine, is only 10 minutes away and is Prime fishing and paddling year round! Traveling with friends? Ask about additional space for Tent Camping! We keep it simple and comfortable. Come on ‘upta camp’ to relax a bit, and come see first hand all of the greatness Maine has to offer! Guest access You get the whole cabin, and Acres on acres of private outdoor space to enjoy. Use Kayaks/canoe/paddleboards that are already stored down at the lake for you! Other things to note The 1/8 mile dirt road in is an unmaintained town road. Please be prepared for a bumpy ride. Most vehicles will be fine, but we do recommend awd and some ground clearance. Please drive slow upon entering the road, and watch for any free range dogs/chickens there at the beginning, and be respectful of any neighbors! While this place is super magical for those who LOVE NATURE- some people may prefer pavement and modern amenities. I'm here to answer any questions prior to booking! Please tread lightly, and help us keep our native plants and animals thriving! We do not use poisons, or chemicals on our property, and hope you won’t either. We are cannabis friendly- but please partake outdoors.
