Come and make yourself at home at the 1930's Highland House! Located in the middle of Abilene’s Historic Homes this B&B will give you a taste of history. It is only 2 minutes from McMurray University a 5 minute drive to the vibrant Downtown area that has so much to offer. The space Highland House is a fully furnished second floor two bedroom apartment with its own entrance. Each bedroom provides super comfortable full-sized beds and sitting areas in each room. There are also full closets for your belongings. In between the bedrooms is a spacious full bathroom equipped with towels and toiletries. Plush towels and high quality bed linens are assured. The living space is very large and has lots of natural lighting with a separate area for kids to play or a reading nook. The kitchen is fully equipped and also includes a coffee maker, tea kettle, refrigerator and a microwave. There is also a private balcony for you to enjoy Abilene's lovely morning and evenings. We also offer a daily happy hour between 5-6 pm which includes a glass of wine and a small plate on the front porch.
