A charming wooden housefrom 1884 in the center of Bergen let´s you enjoy the amazing view over Bergen and be right in the city just a 3 minute stroll down the hill. You are close to the mountain and beautiful hikes or you can relax and enjoy the sunset over the harbour from the roof terrace. The famous fishmarket and beautiful Bergen Bryggen are quick to reach through a cozy neighborhood with small cafes, shops, restaurants, and bars. Train and tram are also just 6 minutes away. The space The three story house is a charming, historical wooden Bergenhouse. It dates back to 1884 and has been one of the first houses in Skivebakken. The house is built in the traditional løftebygg way with wooden studs laying on top of each other. You have the bathrooms and one large bedroom on the ground floor, which is also great for kids playing. On the first floor the joint living and dining room invites you to enjoy the view over the city or cosy evenings at the fire place. The spacious kitchen is also on the first floor. The second floor has the another bedroom with a working station as well as direct access to the beautiful private 15 m2 roof terrace with sunset view over Bergen. Other things to note Note that the stairs in the house are steep and there are no child guards.
