Waterfront Guest House on Beautiful Lake Norman

Now available is our nicely-equipped waterfront guest house just steps away from the water on Lake Norman! Relax on the oversized screened-in porch and take in the excellent view of the lake, or head down to the dock to fish or swim. Bring your boat and spend your days on the water! In the evenings, come back and fix a great meal on the new stainless steel appliances or the outdoor grill, and settle in for a movie on one of the new Ultra HD TV's. You're sure to enjoy a relaxing stay here! The space The guest house has newer furniture, appliances, electronics, and more. The bedroom is spacious and quiet, with a large closet and dressers and a high-end television. The bathroom includes all the necessities (soap, shampoo, etc.), with updated faucets and a stand up shower. Please note that there is no tub. The living area is nicely-appointed, with newer furniture and a high-end television. If work calls, there is a desk and high-speed Internet access available to all of our guests. The sofa has a pull-out bed for additional sleeping capacity if needed. The kitchen has newer stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Spend the evening creating a perfect meal, and enjoy it on the outdoor table on the screened-in porch overlooking the lake. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire guest house as well as the screened-in porch. There is a lower deck beside the guest house where guests can access their own private gas grill. The dock is available to all guests for swimming and fishing anytime. My family also uses the dock, so this is a shared space. Docking is available for one boat 25' and smaller. The covered slips at the dock are reserved for our family's boats. Boats will need to be launched at a nearby public boat ramp, which is only about four miles away by land and right across the cove by water. Parking is available next to the guest house for up to two vehicles. Additional vehicles (including a boat trailer) may be parked on the property, but will be further away from the guest house. Other things to note **We STRONGLY recommend obtaining travel insurance when booking through Airbnb. Information on travel insurance can be found online by searching for Airbnb travel insurance. We must abide by our established policies regarding cancelations and refunds (see the Cancelation Policy section of our listing), so to protect your interests, please follow our recommendation and purchase travel insurance so that you can be reimbursed if you need to cancel your reservation outside of our refund window.** My family and I live in the main house on the property, so we are available to assist if any issues arise during your stay. Guests will be required to climb one set of exterior stairs in order to access the guest house. There are also a few stairs that lead down to the sidewalk to the dock. There is a stand-up shower in the bathroom, but there is no tub. No fireworks of any type (including sparklers) are permitted anywhere on the property. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property. Please note that our guest house is suitable for sleeping up to four people. This includes all guests, including children. Groups of more than four people will not be allowed to stay overnight. We allow our guests to have visitors during the day, but the total number of people in your group, including registered guests, must not exceed six people.
