Perfect for short and long stays! This is a legal NYC Airbnb. See below for our COVID cleaning protocol. The space The apartment is a pet-friendly, infant-friendly duplex. On the main floor, you'll find: a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a full bathroom with a shower and tub, the kitchen and dining area with a 6-person dining table, and a sofa bed. In the (very large) downstairs space you'll find: the second bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bathroom with a shower, a TV watching area with a 55 inch Netflix/Smart TV, a sofa bed, an office desk/chair if you're working remotely, and the washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, and basic cooking and serving utensils. You'll have a regular coffee machine, a Nespresso machine, a French press coffee maker, an electric kettle, a microwave, a toaster oven, a blender, a full stove and oven, and a full-sized fridge. There are multiple spaces to work from the apartment, with complete privacy from each other: the main dining room table can fit multiple people working on laptops, the main floor bedroom has a small office desk (see photos), and we recently added a large office desk plus a comfortable office chair to the downstairs bedroom (not pictured yet). If you close the doors, you can't hear conversations between rooms. The entire apartment has central heating and A/C, with a thermostat that you control. This is a NON-SMOKING listing. There's absolutely no smoking/vaping of any kind inside the house or outside/common areas. NEW DEEP CLEANING PRACTICES We have made some changes to our Airbnb practices and we follow Airbnb's new cleaning protocol. We are committed to our guests' safety, our own safety, and the safety of the company responsible for the apartment cleaning. The apartment is cleaned and sanitized as per CDC and Airbnb's recommendations and empty for at least 24h between guests. Below are more details about the additional steps we are taking to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and make our guests safer and more comfortable. - immediately after guests leave, we open all windows and doors to ventilate the apartment for at least 1h. - At least 1h after ventilation, the cleaning crew cleans and sanitizes the apartment. - Any person (other than guests - that is, us and the cleaning crew) will wear disposable gloves, disposable or clean, reusable face covering, and disposable shoe covers while in the apartment. - New guests arrive at least 24h after the apartment has been cleaned, sanitized, and human-free. - The apartment is person-free (including us and the cleaning crew) for at least 24h before guests arrive. - The apartment is cleaned by a professional cleaning company committed to using disposable cleaning supplies. - All surfaces are sanitized with alcohol 70% after the entire apartment is cleaned. This includes all surfaces, chairs, doorknobs, faucets, lightswitch, remote control, laundry baskets, handles, coffee machines, and trash can. - Linens and towels are washed and dried at the highest temperature possible. - Extra linen, blankets, and towels will be available (in the closet and storage area). - Guests receive the house manual via email only. No printed materials will be left for guests (house manual, subway map, welcome note, guestbook, recycling instructions). *Please, check the online house manual we provide.* Guest access The entire apartment is yours. The building has a shared backyard that you're free to use (no smoking or vaping anywhere). Other things to note Note that we have a pet (dog) in the upstairs apartment. This shouldn't be an issue with your stay, but we mention it in case you (or someone in your party) has severe pet allergies. Our dog never goes into your apartment, but he does visit the backyard. We're pet lovers and the apartment is pet-friendly, but please do not let your pets use the back or front yard as their bathroom. Our dog also doesn't do that - we keep the space clean for adults and children.
