We are Hotel in the Shade, a boutique family-run hotel in Tamarindo. We aim to offer our guests the type of place where we would like to stay. This room is one of our personal favourites, relax poolside, enjoy your own private patio and outdoor kitchenette, and explore all that Tamarindo has to offer. Included is access to our air-conditioned coworking space, perfect for travelling professionals and digital nomads alike. Guest access Steps away from downtown, you can find us at 9 Corona Street, Tamarindo. Right beside Drangonly restaurant. We have free parking in front of the hotel and are happy to help arrange any travel requirements you may have. Be it a taxi, shuttle, bus, or however else you choose to get around, we are here to help! Other things to note We do not allow children at Hotel in the Shade. There will be a receptionist available every day until 8 pm, following that we are reachable by phone. We have 24/h security in place and access is controlled through a keypad entrance for your peace of mind. The Garden Cafe, our in-house cafe, serves fantastic breakfast and lunch daily and is open for snacks and drinks until 3 pm. And we, of course, offer complementary surfboard parking.
