Altamira Room at Las Casitas, Rancho Lomitas

Las Casitas at Rancho Lomitas is located on 250+ acres of native Tamaulipan thorn scrub in deep South Texas. Great for birdwatching, butterflying, botanizing, stargazing, hiking and generally relaxing in the quiet of the country. Each room has a full kitchen which is stocked with everything you need except your groceries. Native plant tours are available at an additional cost. Please be aware that the road to Las Casitas is part paved and part dirt. Call for road conditions if concerned. Guest access Guests can explore the ranch on foot or bike. Permission is required to use motorized vehicles on ranch roads and trails. Other things to note The nearest grocery store is 10 miles away. Be sure to bring your groceries. Coffee and tea is provided in each room.
