🇮🇹 Live like a Local 🇮🇹 Our rustic Italian loft will give you all the traditional and timeless feelings of old Tuscany. Equipped with modern comforts, Ardani loft is the ideal place to relax after a long day of exploring the rolling green hills, medieval towns, and wineries of Tuscany. The loft was crafted inside the iron forge of Legoli’s 14th century castle. The highlights include the unbelievable scenic views from its high altitude, its central location in Tuscany, and its unique decor. The space The loft has been reinforced with steel bars, a modern staircase and a modern air filtration system for your safety and convenience. In the Ardani Loft you will find the ceilings original wood beams slightly blackened by the high heat used to forge iron in this space 600 years ago. You will also find the original brick, stone and wood used to construct the space. There will be natural dust particles from the 600 year old brick and stone that may occur on some surfaces throughout your stay. Inside the Ardani Loft is a 2000-year-old Etruscan cave which was hand dug into the stone. The cave has a natural moisture and will have a familiar old bookstore smell that is typical of a natural stone cave. A modern glass door has been installed to keep closed. The cave is NOT available for access at this time. Please do not enter the cave while it is currently being restored. The bathroom features artistic tile décor, and the ground floor features beautiful Italian terracotta tile. This unique stay, with its mixture of rustic Italian and modern Italian features, will definitely add great value to your vacation. Guest access Parking at Ardani Loft: There is on-site parking at the loft. There is a small driveway right in front of the loft doors that can accommodate a very small car. However, for your comfort, we highly recommend parking in the public parking spaces that are a few steps away from the loft, right beside the castle wall. There is also tons of public parking just down the street (2 minute walk) behind the market. Free public parking in every town in Tuscany! Paid parking in the cities. Close Attractions: Central Tuscany surrounded by wineries! Endless medieval towns to explore every few kms/miles. An abundance of restaurants and food in the nearby towns to enjoy! 50 minutes from Florence 35 minutes from Pisa 45 minutes to the beach/ocean (closest beach pictured in the photos) Closest international airports are Florence & Pisa Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: The Ardani loft accommodation is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to the open spaces between the loft fencing and steep staircase. The upstairs loft space is not wheelchair accessible. PLEASE NOTE: The air filtration and dehumidifier system runs periodically and has an audible hum comparable to a fan running at medium level of noise. If you are sensitive to noise while sleeping, it would be recommended to bring ear plugs. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO air conditioning in the castle. There is a modern air exchange filtration system installed that pulls the warm air out of the loft and allows the natural cool of the castle walls to keep the space cool. There are also two portable fans available for you to use. Tuscany can be very very hot during some travel months. If you are sensitive to warm temperature then please note that the loft can be warm inside when the outside temperature is high. If it is cold and you need heat, there is a portable heater available for use. Registration Details Exempt
