Cozy farmhouse from 1850 with a great location on Hisøy. Rural, central and close to the water at the same time. Kayaks available. The house is decorated in an old charming style and was formerly the main house on the farm. Today it serves as a holiday home and is a cozy alternative to traditional accommodation. The space The house is over two floors. On the main floor there is an entrance, kitchen, toilet and a spacious and cozy "grandmother's room". The bedrooms are on the second floor. Here it is low under the roof, so watch your head in the door frames. :) Heating of the house consists mainly of a heat pump, but it is also equipped with some electric ovens and an efficient wood stove. The whole house is decorated with traditional furniture and decorative items. Many have belonged to the house and family for generations. The house and furniture are to be used, but we appreciate that older items are treated with respect. Guest access The house is surrounded by a cozy natural garden with nice play opportunities for children. On the terrace there are good sun conditions, and here you will find outdoor furniture and a cool barbecue. Two two-man kayaks are available to the tenants. These are located near the jetty about 100 meters from the house. The kayaks are stable, semi-open and solid. Designed for rental and use by both beginners and more experienced. The following life jackets are available: 2x Junior 25-40 kg 2x Adult 40-60 kg 2x Adult 60+ kg Other things to note The house is not specially designed for small children, neither with child locks on windows, stair locks, etc., so each individual must take their own precautions. Foldable baby cot with high edges, cradle, traditional baby cot and high chair for children are available. If you want it to be ready, we recommend that you report your needs before arrival.
