We do not plow the road or driveway, you are responsible for having a vehicle that can handle snow and possible ice. We cannot control mother nature! DCCA # 796050 The space Just three miles from Pringle Falls/Deshcutes River area. Approximately 40 minutes to Mt. Bachelor ski area, 10 minutes to Sun River, and a quick 30 minute drive into Bend. We have lots of winter and summer toys for you to play with. Wickiup reservoir and many mountain recreation lakes just minutes away. Guest access Number of guests limited to those in the reservation. All other guests must be pre approved and confirmed by hosts. Failure to comply will result in cancellation without refund. Winter Rules in affect! It can snow A LOT in La Pine. You are responsible for getting access to and from the house ( a 4 wheel drive is highly recommended - the driveway may have lots of snow). We are not able to always plow the driveway. Just prior to your arrival we will send you information on how to access the house. We often change codes between guests. Other things to note Note: HVAC system rules- weather in the area is often very cool at night, even in the summer. The HVAC will not cool the home if the outdoor temperature is cold. To cool the home in the evening, it is most helpful to open doors and windows and allow the cool air in. Trying to cool the house with the HVAC when it is below 60 degrees outside will harm the HVAC system and cause it to freeze. Thank you kindly. One king bed and one queen bed. The house has one and a half baths. Washer and dryer. Full kitchen with gas stove, and all the kitchen items you need! BBQ outside. Covered patio to enjoy the outside space. Deer and elk often seen on the property. This is nature, there may be little bugs and there may be mosquitos outside. Keeping doors and windows closed will prevent mosquitoes from entering the house. Plan accordingly and research bug spray of your choice. For winter, Please read winter rules. You are responsible for accessing the driveway/house - the driveway may have lots of snow! There is a snow shovel or two in the garage for your use! Fireplace will be turned off during summer months due to hotter weather.
