DISINFECTED FOR EVERY GUEST...including fresh linens. Sorry, NO PARTIES. Enjoy a relaxing lakefront stay in a quiet forest setting. Only minutes from shopping, food, entertainment, and beaches. Centrally located between Tacoma and Seattle, about 20 minutes from SeaTac Airport--near I-5/WA-18 intx. Swim, canoe, kayak, fish (WA license required), walk through the forest, or just relax by the fire pit and watch the wildlife. Free Parking! Extra $25 cleaning fee per pet--see House Rules. The Tree House at Lake Killarney sits at the end of a very long gravel driveway. There is a designated parking space at the front of the building, about 40 feet from the steps to the entrance. Inside is an open concept kitchen, dining (table for 4), and living room area with a sofa bed (short queen size) and two rotating chairs for lounging. There is one separate bedroom with a queen sized bed, and one bathroom with a custom tiled shower. The deck includes a pub height table with 4 chairs, and two patio chairs as well. Due to space limitations, we are unable to provide for wheelchair access. Climbing 11 entry stairs is required. You will have access to the lakefront on our property. The yard and lake access are shared with us and our family. We will keep our distance unless you would like to interact. It includes a fire pit and a level grassy area for playing whatever lawn games you'd like. You can fish (WA license required), swim in the lake, rent a canoe or kayaks from us, or bring your own water gear to use. You can walk through the woods along our driveway (nearly 1000 feet), or on many nearby walking/biking trails, and enjoy the Lake Killarney Fireworks Display and our barbecue on the 4th of July! And if you have a few friends over to hang out, we should have room for them to park as well (max 8 people, 4 to sleep, including you). Note: No large parties or events allowed. We are always happy to answer any questions you have. If you need us, we live in a separate house on the property. The yard and lake access are shared with us and our family. We will keep our distance unless you would like to interact. The neighborhood has a rural feel, even though we are minutes from the city. Neighbors are friendly and honor each other's property. Obviously, the lake is the center of everything in this neighborhood and makes us relatively unique. There is an Open Space Park and Weyerhaeuser Campus nearby with lots of trails for walking, running, or biking. Easy access w/ free parking, only 2 minutes from I-5 and WA-18, and about 20 minutes from/to Sea-Tac Airport. We are centrally located between Tacoma (15 min in light traffic) and Seattle (30 min in light traffic), and there's a bus stop just outside the property. The Angle Lake Link light rail station is 15 minutes away, and has a large park-n-ride garage (it does fill up at times, though). Pet waste can is located outside under the deck, near the path to the lake.
